Eastern TIger Swallowtail Double Sided Stainless Steel Locket-- Papilio glaucus
A common butterfly across eastern North America, this swallowtail comes in yellow and also a dark female form. These are made out of wings from the yellow form female, with beautiful coloration and a lot more stunning than the comparatively drab (but still pretty) males.
Eastern tigers have several broods during the spring/summer, with the final brood overwintering as pupae. A variety of larvae hostplants are used, including lilac, cherry, and tulip tree.

- Choose 25 or 30 mm outside diameter surgical stainless steel locket with clear glass faces.

- Locket is sealed with jewelers adhesive to preserve the wings inside. Attempted opening of locket not recommended.
