Lorquin's Admiral Butterfly Double Sided Stainless Steel Locket -- Limenitis lorquini
This active butterfly has multiple broods in the Pacific Northwest and a variety of host plants. Males are quite active in late spring and early summer, competing with much larger swallowtail butterflies for territory along mountain streams.
They are also quite active on roadkill and scat, looking for salts and proteins. This butterfly is so metal.
