Wild Tarragon - Artemisia dracunculus
*** Available in Oregon only, on request.
This is the native host plant for the Oregon Swallowtail. It's common in desert areas east of the Cascade Mountain Range, staying green through the hot and dry summers.
You will receive one well rooted plant, raised from wild collected seed and ready to plant.
It has a taste similar to that of French Tarragon, and is an acceptable substitute.
- Full Sun is best (half day is okay)
- Water moderately the first year to help it become established
- Well drained soil
- Do not fertilize
Please reach out for adjusted pricing if ordering more than 10 plants :)
