Western Tiger Swallowtail Resin Earrings -- Papilio rutulus
A common butterfly in spring and early summer west of the Rocky Mountains. This butterfly spends most of its time along mountain stream corridors near the caterpillar hostplants, such as willow, cottonwood, and aspen.
Earrings use the hindwing sections.

- For earrings, choose .925 Sterling Silver or hypoallergenic niobium earwires. Niobium is less shiny and contains no nickel. See picture.
